Updated Counts, Cormier Gets Trips

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jeffrey Cormier, who recently finished runner-up to Nathan Hall in the WPT National Tournament earlier in the World Cup of Cards, just went runner-runner trips to win a pot.

He had {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and flopped an open-ended straight draw when the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board came. The turn and the river were both sevens, giving him trips instead and he now has over 800,000.

Bharat Shetty came into the day with over 700,000 after qualifying in one of the live flights last night. He is now sitting at just over 200,000.
