Day 2 of partypoker’s $500,000 Guarantee Canadian Grand Prix is in the books and Dimitri Tchakarov (6,155,000) is the leader with 46 remaining. Leo Ragusa (5,355,000), Paul Mohorea (4,740,000), Jean Quirion (4,335,000), and Richard Figiel (3,800,000) round out the top five.

Earlier this afternoon, 481 players, including qualifiers from the more than 40 online flights, the 11 live flights, and people who chose to direct buy into Day 2 for $1,100, showed up at the Playground Poker Club ready to take their shot at the $80,000 first prize.

The overall chip leader entering the day was Salvatore Commisso. He entered the day with 872,000 and managed to bag 2,325,000 heading into Day 3. Weldon Ward was another flight's chip leader and he too is on to Day 3 with 1,940,000.

Charles La Boissonniere, Bob T, and Joey Boczek, have all found success during the World Cup of Cards and were all in Day 2, but failed to make Day 3. William Blais, who is also among the leaders in the WCC Tournament leaderboard is heading to Day 3 and a shot to take the lead with a deep run here. He will start Day 3 with 1,265,000.
