Marvin Rettenmaier

Freshly busted from the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout, Marvin Rettenmaier entered in the tournament and opened to 2,600. The player in the cutoff called and the button pushed all in for a remaining stack around 32,000. Marvin opted to reshove and the cutoff folded.

Marvin Rettenmaier: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
His opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Rettenemaier was in very good shape to win the hand and eliminate his opponent, which he did after the dealer brought the {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} ran out.

Andler Takes From Schulman

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 2,500 and got three callers, which included the player in the cutoff, Barry Shulman from the button and Christopher Andler from his big blind. On a flop of {6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, action checked around to Shulman, who put out a bet of 5,500 and was check-called by Andler and the player in the cutoff.

Both players then checked again to Shulman on the {j-Hearts} flop, and this time only Andler check-called after Shulman continued his aggression with a 10,000 bet. After both players checked the {3-Hearts} river, Andler tabled {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for trip jacks and Shulman mucked his cards.

Jonathan Zarin raised to 2,200 from the middle position and was called was by Scotty Nguyen from the next seat over. Anson Tsang, who was currently the big stack at the table, then re-raised to 7,300, which got a call from Zarin and a fold from Nguyen.

After Zarin check-called a 6,300 bet from Tsang on the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, both players then checked the {q-Spades} flop. The dealer put the {2-Diamonds} on the flop, which got an all-in shove from Zarin and sent Tsang into the tank for about a minute before he eventually folded his hand.
