Cordeiro Loses a Small One

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

In a heads-up situation, the flop read {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} when Marle Cordeiro, situated on the button, called a bet from her opponent in the blinds.

The turn {q-Hearts} went check-check and so did the river {j-Clubs}. Cordeiro's opponent showed {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for two pair and Cordeiro conceded the pot.

Paredes' Perfect Timing

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

The following hand replayed by David Paredes.

It folded to the player in the lojack, and he raised to 900. Action then folded to David Paredes, who had just taken his seat and been dealt his very first hand, and he three-bet to 4,700. With action back on the original raiser, he then four-bet shoved for 37,000 and was snapped called by Paredes.

All-in Player: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
David Paredes: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Paredes did have a bit of a sweat on the nine-six-five two-spade flop, but the board ran out clean with a {j-} turn and {k-} river, which eliminated Paredes' opponent and gave him almost a full double-up on his very first hand.

Solano Folds to a Shove

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Everyone folded around to Brandon Rice on the button, and he raised it up to 3,600. After the player in the small blind folded her hand, Maury Solano then three-bet to 3,600 from his small blind, and Rice wasted little time responding with a four-bet shove all in. Solano asked for an exact count, and once the dealer confirmed 16,900 total, Solano gave it a brief thought before he decided to fold his hand.
