A Jack for Jaconetti

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ryan Jaconetti shipped all in for his last 465,000 in the hijack and Michael Farrow called on the button. The blinds folded and the two players tabled their hands.

Ryan Jaconetti: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Michael Farrow: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} to leave Farrow in the lead with his pocket eights. "We need a king or jack," Jaconetti said to his rail. He found just that in the {j-Diamonds} on the turn. The river was the {9-Hearts} and Jaconetti doubled up to stay alive.

Lavi Adds to his Stack

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

George Rakitzis raised to 105,000 under the gun and Andrea Buonocore called from the hijack along with Steven Filipovic in the small blind and Viktor Lavi in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Filipovic and Lavi checked. Rakitzis fired 175,000. Buonocore and Filipovic folded and Lavi check-called.

The turn came the {8-Spades} and was checked through to the {5-Spades} river. Both players checked again and Rakitzis tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for ace-high while Lavi revealed {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Kenneth Martin raised it up from the hijack and Denis Timofeev defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Timofeev checked to Martin who continued for 300,000. Timofeev check-raised all in and Martin quickly called off his stack of around 1,100,000.

Denis Timofeev: {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Kenneth Martin: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Martin was in the lead with his pair of queens and the {j-Clubs} on the turn was a safe card for him. However, the {8-Hearts} on the river gave Timofeev trip eights and Martin was forced to the rail.

Pham Calls Down Cutler

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Christian Pham opened to 115,000 from under the gun and was called by Alan Cutler in the small blind and Jonathan Abdellatif in the big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Pham who continued for 125,000. Both Cutler and Abdellatif called to see the {6-Spades} on the turn.

The action checked around and the {3-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Cutler led out for 180,000 which got Abdellatif to fold but Pham called after about a minute. Cutler turned over {a-Spades}{2-Spades} but Pham revealed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}. This time, Rakitzis led out with a bet of 300,000. Andrea thought for a long while but let it go and Dawley folded as well. Rakitzis showed {k-Spades}{5-Spades} for two pair before raking in the pot.

Filipovic Sends Pham to the Rail

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action folded around to Khang Pham who shipped all in for his last 400,000 in the cutoff. Steven Filipovic called on the button and both of the blinds folded.

Steven Filipovic: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Khang Pham: {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} left Filipovic in the lead with his ace-high. The {q-Clubs} nor the {3-Diamonds} was any help to Pham who was sent to the payout desk.
