Hadziabdic Calls Phelps' Bluff

Haris Hadziabdic raised to 1,000 on the button and was called by Dennis Phillips in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

Action checked to Hadziabdic on the {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Spades} flop and he bet 1,100. Phillips then check-raised to 3,500 and it was folded back to Hadziabdic, who called.

Phillips continued for 5,500 on the {2-Clubs} turn and Hadziabdic called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Phillips bet 10,000. Hadziabdic called after a bit of thought.

"Nice call," Phillips said as he tabled {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a busted open-ended straight draw.

Hadziabdic tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for top pair and he dragged the pot.

The under-the gun-player raised to 1,300 and it folded to Sam Abernathy, who called. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Abernathy's opponent check-called a bet of 1,200.

Both players checked on the {9-Diamonds} turn as well as the {3-Clubs} river.

Abernathy mucked her cards after her opponent showed {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Fehr Rivers Flush and Gets Paid

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was three-way action after a {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop which included Mobi Fehr from the cutoff, Hossein Ensan from the button and the big blind.

Action was checked to Ensan who fired out 2,200 and then 4,300 after the {a-Spades} turn. Fehr and the big blind check-called both bets bring the {5-Diamonds} river.

With three diamonds on the board, action was checked to Fehr who fired out 6,500 and only the big blind called.

Fehr quickly rolled over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flush and collected the pot after his opponent mucked {a-}{10-}.

Tran Calls Down Correctly

JC Tran raised to 2,200 and earned one call. The big blind then three-bet to 5,200 and was called by Tran only. The {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop brought a continuation bet for 7,000 by the big blind and Tran called. He did so again for 11,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn and 11,000 on the {10-Diamonds} river to get shown the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

Tran had that beat with the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} and earned the pot with the top pair.

"That's the first impressive thing I have seen from you," another player at the table remarked.

Big Slick Good At Showdown for Savvides

Josh Arieh was in the small blind was in a heads-up pot against under the gun player Marios Savvides.

Arieh checked on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and his opponent checked it back. Both players checked again on the {7-Spades} turn and the same action took place when the {6-Hearts} rolled off on the river.

Arieh was first to show and tabled {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for king-high, but it was no good against the ace-high of Savvides with {a-}{k-}.

Gjerde Gets Caught Bluffing

The button raised to 1,100 and Joseph Sanders called in the small blind before Thomas Gjerde defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and all three players checked.

The {5-Spades} paired the board on the turn and after Sanders checked Gjerde bet 2,000. The button quickly folded and Sanders made the call.

On the {2-Spades} river, Sanders checked once again to Gjerde who fired out a bet of 5,000. Sanders pondered for about thirty seconds before making the call. Gjerde tabled {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for king-high and Sanders took the pot when he tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Chevalier Among Leaders

Rochard Chevalier was spotted in the field with a large stack as he was involved in a hand with the flop reading {5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Chevalier bet 3,000 over to his opponent who folded daily quickly to send a few more chips over to the man adorned in LSU gear.

Gilmore Shoves on the Flop

With around 36,000 in the pot and {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} on the board, Andrew Gilmore shoved from early position for 89,000 and his opponent called.

The turn was {j-Spades} and the river fell {9-Spades}. The pocket aces held and Gilmore pumped his fist and let out a yell that could be heard around the Amazon room as he dragged a pot that brought him over 200K.

There was heads-up action between Nick Yunis from the big blind and his opponent from the cutoff with a completed board of {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts} showing.

With roughly 7,000 already in the middle, Yunis led out for 6,200 which was over half his remaining stack and after some time in tank, his opponent folded.

"You blogging this?" asked Yunis as he showed PokerNews {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for the bluff.
