Bargas Shows a King

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} both Vince Bargas and his opponent checked.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Bargas led out for 2,200. The opponent folded while she joked, "Do you have quads?" Paying attention to Bargas' run good as of recent as he flopped a royal flush just a couple of hours ago.

Bargas showed the {k-Clubs} before giving his cards back to the dealer.

Shorr's Short Stack Ride Ends

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Shannon Shorr raised to 1,100 in the cutoff and Joseph Sanders called out of the big blind. On a {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, Sanders checked and Shorr bet 1,500. After mulling over his decision for a while, Sanders check-raised to 3,100 and Shorr called.

The {2-Clubs} fell on the turn and Sanders bet 10,000, which had the remaining few chips of Shorr covered. Within a few seconds, Shorr called and was drawing very slim to a chop only.

Shannon Shorr: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Joseph Sanders: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs} river only improved Sanders to the nut flush and Shorr quickly departed from the tournament area.

The {k-Clubs} was the turn card and all three players checked to see the {5-Spades} on the river. Sheinin led out for 4,000 and both Ievseieva and Grybas called. Sheinin tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a pair of aces, Ievseieva tabled {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush and Grybas mucked his hand.
