Zhou Calls It Off

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action arrived on the river on a board of {6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. It was a blind on blind situation as Jimmy Zhou bet 85,000 from the small blind into a pot of 260,000.

Jake Toole raised all in to put Zhou in the blender. After about a minute, Zhou called.

Toole showed the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the straight which defeated the {k-}{9-} of Zhou as he stood up and waited for payouts.

Ganon Hooks Loube, Eclipses One Milly

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Steven Loube raised to 18,000 from under the gun and Brian Ganon called from the next seat over only to have Benjamin Underwood three-bet to 70,000 from the small blind.

Action fold back to Loube who called and Ganon four-bet jammed having both players covered. Underwood quickly released his hand while Loube called off his 482,000 stack.

Steven Loube: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Brian Ganon: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Loube didn't like what he saw when the cards were tabled as Ganon held the superior made hand and the {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs} runout ended his Main Event.

Gunn Picks Off Park

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river as the board read {3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Sejin Park made a large 240,000 overbet into a pot of about 160,000 from early position. Aaron Gunn was on the button and winced a bit when he saw the size of the bet and got a count. But after a few seconds he called.

Park tossed the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} in frustration which Gunn tabled the [ksqd[ for the winner.

Young Among the Next to Fall

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

According to Oliver Biles, Young had jammed for 53,000 with pocket jacks and Biles called in the big blind with the {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The {a-Hearts} appeared right in the window and Young found no help anymore.

Moments later, Eric Salazar was eliminated as well in the Amazon Tan section, which has already lost nearly half of the tables.

Chidwick Flops Trip Aces

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With about 200,000 in the pot, three players went to a flop including an early position player, a middle position player, and Stephen Chidwick on the button.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Chidwick bet 40,000 after the other two checked to him. Only the early position player continued.

The {5-Diamonds} came on the turn and Chidwick's opponent check-called a bet of 65,000.

Both players checked down the {3-Clubs} river and Chidwick showed {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}, which was good to take the pot over the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} of his opponent.
