Chang Forces Folds

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Three players saw a flop of 73J. From middle position, Joseph Wagganer bet 5,500. Marco Rubey called in the cutoff and Yuchung Chang also came along on the button.

The turn was the K. Action checked around to the river which was the 6. It checked to Chang who bet 13,500, That got a swift fold from Wagganer and a longer thinking fold from Rubey.

Selbst Back With a Double

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Soon after losing half of her stack Vanessa Selbst got it in preflop for 31,200 with the AA and was up against Benjamin Steinwachs with the AK.

There was no upset on the 1085510 runout and Selbst doubled right back.

Heads-up on a board of 3776, Giuseppe Pantaleo bet 6,000 from the big blind and Jesse Lonis called on the button.

The river was the J and Pantaleo bet 17,000. Lonis then moved all in.

Pantaleo, with around 33,000 remaining, tanked for several minutes before slamming his cards down into the middle of the table and surrendering the pot to Lonis.

Selbst Loses Half Her Stack

Vanessa Selbst had only just entered the tournament when she lost around half her stack on one of the first hands of play.

Andrew Finlay opened to 1,700 from the cutoff and then called after Selbst three-bet to 6,000 out of the small blind.

Selbst continued for 5,000 following the 1039 flop with Finlay making the call.

Action checked through the 6 turn to the 5 river at which point Selbst checked again. Finlay bet 15,200 and was instantly called by Selbst. Finlay turned over A2 for the nuts to take down a sizable pot, leaving Selbst relatively short.

Lopes check-called a 1,500 continuation following the 243 flop.

The 9 turn saw Lopes check again before raising to 15,000 after Cullen bet 4,500. Cullen moved all in and Lopes quickly called with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.

Walker Turns Set

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read 365Q with three players in the hand and a pot of about 53,000 in the middle.

From middle position, Zachary Walker jammed all in for 25,200. Scott Hirsch instantly folded the cutoff and Johannes Lehner called on the button. Walker took a few moments to pull out his phone to record before revealing his cards.

Jagger Gets Paid on River

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up on the river with the board showing 739109 with 9,800 in the pot.

James Jagger in the cutoff checked to Robert Mizrachi on the button, who bet out 5,000. Jagger then raised to 26,500, and Mizrachi made the call.

Jagger tabled 109 for a full house, nines full of 10s. Mizrachi shook his head as he tossed his cards into the muck.

Burlacu Ousted By Nasty River

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Sam Johnson, Robert Burlacu, and Todd Phillips were three-ways to a turn of 6567. Johnson and Phillips had checked from the small blind and early position respectively before Burlacu made a bet of 13,500 into the pot of 23,000.

Johnson then jammed all in, covering the other two players. Phillips quickly folded but Burlacu tanked for 30 seconds or so before committing his stack.

Burlacu had the higher two pair with his kings and sixes, but the 5 river gave Johnson a full house to eliminate his opponent.

Miquel Munoz Chips Up With a Flush

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On the tail end of a 992J6 board, Ramon Miquel Munoz bet 9,300 out of the big blind and the dealer already tossed the all-in triangle towards him. The Spaniard then moved his hands away to reveal one T-25,000 chip behind and the all-in triangle vanished again.

Daniel Ferketa called the bet and was shown the A5 for the ace-high flush by Miquel Munoz, which won the pot.
