Jordan Griff: AA

Nagami had run into Griff's aces and was at risk of elimination until the flop brought J104, giving him top set. Griff was left looking for a two-outer but didn't find any miracles on the 5 turn or 7 river as Nagami doubled up.

Xiao Catches Astedt Speeding

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Andres Gonzalez opened to 600,000 from middle position with the 97 and Shundan Xiao called from the cutoff. Niklas Astedt also came along from the big blind.

The Q105 flop checked through to the A turn. Astedt led out for 1,500,000, folding out Gonzalez while Xiao stuck around.

The 4 completed the board and Astedt made it 4,200,000. Xiao thought for a bit and made the call.

Astedt tabled K8, and was bested by Xiao's A2, which was good for a pair of aces.

Latinois Jams Into Zanette

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

From under the gun, Giovanni Zanette raised to 700,000. Two seats over, Malo Latinois three-bet to 1,700,000 and Zanette called to see a flop of 442. Zanette check-called a bet worth 800,000 and they then checked the 3 on the turn.

Zanette checked the K river and Latinois moved forward a stack worth 10,000,000 to send Zanette into agony. One minute later, the South African sigh-folded.

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Jason Hoffman
Jason Hoffman

Jason James opened to 600,000 from middle position and was called by Luis Vazquez on the button. Jason Hoffman then three-bet to 2,200,000 out of the small blind only to see James four-bet to 14,225,000. Vazquez got out of the way but Hoffman called off for less to put himself at risk.

Jason Hoffman: KK All in
Jason James: 99

Hoffman was in excellent position to score a full double, that is until the flop came 9QA. The A turn did give him some additional outs, though he was unable to connect on the J river to send a huge pot to James while forcing Hoffman out in 42nd place courtesy of a bad beat.
