Arthur Morris opened to 600,000 in middle position and Diogo Coelho three-bet to 1,850,000 in the small blind. Nick Jivkov had just 200,000 behind and moved all in from the big blind, while Morris called.

The flop of 89J checked through and the same action took place on the K turn and Q river. Coelho showed A9 for a pair of nines, which was good to beat the 82 of Jivkov and the 55 of Morris as Jivkov hit the rail in 43rd place.

Luis Vazquez opened to 625,000 from the cutoff and then called after Julio Trimmer three-bet jammed for 3,875,000 out of the big blind.

Julio Trimmer: A5 All in
Luis Vazquez: KQ

Trimmer was marginally ahead and saw a clean flop of 827 spread on the felt. The Q turn, however, was a dagger that left the at risk player needing some help from Barry Greenstein on the river to survive. It did not come as the 9 completed the board instead to condemn Trimmer to a 44th place finish.

Astedt Bests Foxen in Battle of the Blinds

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

In a limped pot between the blinds. Kristen Foxen bet 300,000 with the A6 on the QJ2 flop and was called by Niklas Astedt, who held the Q6.

Foxen sized up to 800,000 on the K turn and was called once more.

On the 8 river, Foxen fired a third barrel of 2,200,000. Astedt wasted little time in making it 7,000,000, sending Foxen into the tank. She ended up folding, and Astedt dragged in the pot.
