Arita Eliminated by Huang

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The cards were already on their backs and Xuejun Huang celebrated a knockout when Haruki Arita was sent to the rail during the late stages of the night. According to the table chat, it had been a multi-way pot in which Huang's J10 had flopped the nut straight on Q98 and the AQ of Arita could not catch up anymore on the Q turn and 2 river.

Muccini KO'd by Tustin's Cowboys

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Benji Tustin opened to 4,000 from middle position and was called by Bruce Peery in the hijack. It was then folded to Davide Muccini, who shoved for approximately 30,000 from the small blind. Tustin also went all in for more and Peery got out of the way.

Davide Muccini: AQAll in
Benji Tustin: KK

Muccini would need some help to get his Main Event dreams alive, but the 3J75K runout left Tustin with a set of kings instead — ending Muccini's run.

Guelpa Drowns With Ducks

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jeffery Kohlman raised to 4,000 in late position, and Stephane Guelpa called in the small blind. James Buckley then made it 14,000 to go in the big blind, which Kohlman called.

Guelpa had other plans and ripped in his stack of 84,000. Buckley called without asking for a count, prompting Kohlman to get out of the way.

Stephane Guelpa: 22 All in
James Buckley: KK

Guelpa's risky move did not work out as the 4107JA board brought no help. Buckley's cowboys held strong, and Guelpa was sent to the rail.

Nearly 50,000 was already in the middle as Amritraj Singh and Jacob Naquin saw a flop of 4J9. Naquin then got his last 50,000 in from the button, and Singh put him at risk in the small blind.

Dicken Doesn't Double

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river, with a board reading A1010JJ. With a pot of 38,000, first to act Charles Eichner put in an overbet of 50,000. Donovan Dicken was the only other player still with cards, and the bet was enough to put him all in for his remaining 35,000. He muttered to himself saying, "I can't be good," before eventually sticking in the call.

Eichner tabled AA for top full house, and Dicken let go of his cards. Eichner pointed out that Dicken's cards had to be shown, but they were already in the muck. He told the table he had Qx10x for a weaker boat.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sviatoslav Belov open-raised preflop from early position, and Aaron Gunn called in the small blind. Gunn check-called Belov's bets on the 3Q6 flop and 6 turn, after which the dealer put the 6 river on the felt.

Gunn checked for a third time, and Belov put his opponent all in for 27,500. After a small tank, Gunn called for his tournament life.

Belov tabled AQ for sixes full of queens, and Gunn left the tournament area after he had tabled A3 for sixes full of threes.
