Philip Sternheimer
Philip Sternheimer

Philip Sternheimer raised to 2,300 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 10,000 by Jessica Vierling in the big blind. Sternheimer called.

The flop came K69 and Sternheimer called a 5,500 bet from Vierling.

The 4 fell on the turn and Vierling announced a bet of 10,000. Sternheimer weighed his options and then shoved, which was enough to put Vierling all in for her last 20,000.

Vierling laid her hand down and Sternheimer showed 77 before collecting the pot.

Hegedus Gains from Greenwood

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Juliet Hegedus
Juliet Hegedus

The pre-river action was recalled by another player at the table who saw Juliet Hegedus open from under the gun, and Lucas Greenwood three-bet from middle position. Hegedus four-bet to 25,000 and Greenwood called.

Hegedus bet 15,000 on the 1042 flop and Greenwood called. Greenwood then called a 50,000 bet by Hegedus on the 7 turn.

Action was then followed from the Q river, which saw Hegedus move 150,000 into the middle. Greenwood tanked, and the clock was called.

After 25 seconds, Greenwood mucked and Hegedus collected the huge pot, putting her within the top 20 stacks in the second level of the day.

Time to Decide

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jamie Walden
Jamie Walden

The action was joined as Ravi Raghavan and Jamie Walden were contesting a pot worth roughly 25,000 and a board showing 5Q39.

Raghavan had checked to Walden, who placed a bet of 13,000. Raghavan then sprang into action, check-raising all in for around 62,000.

Walden took a couple of minutes to piece together the action, at which point an uninvolved player called the clock. The floor was duly called to uphold the request, and Walden was given 30 seconds to make a decision.

As the clock ticked down, Walden was no closer to a decision, and when it reached zero, his hand was declared dead.

In a three-way raised pot, the flop read Q28 when Scott Bain and Masato Yokosawa checked to William Marcavish who bet 5,000. Only Bain decided to make the call.

The turn brought no betting action with the 3 and a 4 landed on the river. Once again they both checked to reveal their cards. Bain tabled A2 for a pair of deuces and the pot was sent to Marcavish who showed JJ

Jessica Teusl
Jessica Teusl

Jessica Teusl raised to 2,200 from middle position and in the big blind, Blake Barousse called.

The flop rolled out Q6Q and both players checked to the 8 turn where Barousse bet 3,500 and Teusl called.

Barousse checked the river 3 over to Teusl.

"I'll keep it cheap," said Teusl as she put together a bet of 3,500. "This is just to get even."

"We're even now?" asked Barousse, referencing a hand from earlier where he held aces against Teusl.

"If you make this call, yes," replied Teusl.

After some more thought, he tossed in the chips and mucked after Teusl showed AA for aces and queens.
