Haxton Eliminates Chidwick and Kottler After Roller Coaster Runout

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Issac Haxton
Issac Haxton

Isaac Haxton was in middle position and raised to 60,000. It folded to Stephen Chidwick on the button, who jammed in his stack of 375,000. Small blind Jeremy Kottler thought for some time before he committed his stack of 335,000, and Haxton snap-called to put both players at risk.

Jeremy Kottler: AJ All in
Stephen Chidwick: 55 All in
Isaac Haxton: KK

Haxton flopped top set on 3K6, but Kottler's flush draw completed on the 9 turn to take the lead. The 6 river paired the board, turning Haxton's set into a full house.

Chidwick and Kottler packed their bags as Haxton shipped the pot, chipping up to over 125 big blinds.

Viox Calls Himself Out of the Main Event

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Chris Viox
Chris Viox

Chris Viox raised A7 to 60,000 from the hijack and Dmitrii Perfilev called holding Q10 on the button.

On the 526 flop, Viox check-called a bet of 75,000 from Perfilev to the 6 turn, where Viox checked again. Perfilev then bet 215,000, and Viox called.

A K on the river saw Viox complete his smaller flush, and he checked it over. Perfilev then shoved, which put Viox to the test for his last 385,000. Viox sat back, cracked his knuckles, rechecked his cards, and then called.

"Nice hand," said Viox when he saw the bigger flush of Perfilev, then he made his way to the exit.

Mueller Eliminated by Anavi

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Down to only 200,000 in chips and on the button, Patrick Mueller moved all-in and was called by Or Anavi in the big blind with the covering stack.

Patrick Mueller: 106 All in
Or Anavi: K9

The A52 flop and 3 turn changed nothing and the K river kept Anavi in the lead to earn the knockout with a flush.

"I have tens," replied Merson.

Rory Monahan: A7 All in
Greg Merson: 1010

Monahan never found any help from the K958K runout, and he was sent on his way.

Prost Runs Into Correia's Aces

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Andrejs Prost
Andrejs Prost

Andrejs Prost jammed for his final 285,000 from early position and was called in the next seat over by Ruben Correia to put Prost at risk.

Andrejs Prost: 99All in
Ruben Correia: AA

Prost held a pocket pair, but Correia was equipped with the best starting hand in the game.

The flop brought a bit of intrigue as it came JQ10 to give Prost the lower end of the straight draw as Correia blocked the high end.

This proved to matter when the K peeled off on the turn to give both players a straight, but Correia held the higher straight.

The K river was the end of the road for Prost as he was eliminated.

Double Knockout for Fukao After the Break

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Two short stacks were all-in and at risk over on table 620 moments after the action resumed and both Oystein Kristoffersen as well as Dianlei Zhang were looked up by Yaichi Fukao.

Oystein Kristoffersen: AJ All in
Dianlei Zhang: AK
Yaichi Fukao: 88

The pocket pair fell behind on the K97 flop but gained equity with the 6 turn. Any eight, six or ten would now help and the 5 river was among those outs to secure the double elimination for Fukao.

Camp Flips Ferreira Da Silva to the Rail; Perati Makes a Big Hero Call on Angelil

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Muhamet Perati
Muhamet Perati

William Camp raised to 50,000 under the gun, Diogo Ferreira Da Silva moved all in for 230,000 in middle position, and Camp called.

Diogo Ferreira Da Silva: AQ All in
William Camp: 66

Ferreira Da Silva was racing for his tournament life, but the 89344 board provided no help against Camp's sixes and he was sent to the rail.

At another table, a massive pot was brewing between Muhamet Perati and Rene-Charles Angelil as nearly 1,000,000 was in the middle on a board of 72349. Angelil then bet 850,000 from the hijack.

Perati was in middle position and tanked for nearly five minutes before calling. Angelil could only show A10 for ace-high, while Perati had A7 for a pair of sevens to win the pot.

Brad Owen: KQ All in
Thomas Eychenne: A9

Owen had a pair of queens and royal flush draw while Eychenne was ahead with top pair and the nut-flush draw. Owen got up from his seat and put his backpack on as the 10 river brought in the nut-flush for Eychenne, ending Owen's Main Event run.
