Paul Gibbons Eliminated in 37th Place ($240,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Paul Gibbons
Paul Gibbons

Action folded to Paul Gibbons in the hijack who shoved his remaining 3,500,000 in the middle. Next to him sat Leo Margets in the cutoff and she made the call, with no other player wanting to join.

Paul Gibbons: KKAll in
Leo Margets: AQ

When the flop came down 69A and Gibbons saw the ace giving Margets the better pair he smashed a chip on the table and it fell on the floor.

The 5 turn and the 9 offered no help for Gibbons and he was sent to the rail.

Juan Carlos Vecino Eliminated in 38th Place ($240,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Juan Carlos Vecino
Juan Carlos Vecino

Juan Carlos Vecino raised to 600,000 in middle position, Stefan Nemetz moved all in from the big blind, and Vecino snap-called.

Juan Carlos Vecino: JJ All in
Stefan Nemetz: AK

Vecino remained in the lead with his jacks on the 987 flop, but Nemetz hit the K on the turn to make a pair of kings. The A river improved Nemetz to two pair as he secured the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Vecino had 4,600,000 remaining. Nemetz had him covered by just 600,000, and Vecino made his exit in 38th place.

Stephen Hesse Eliminated in 39th Place ($240,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Stephen Hesse
Stephen Hesse

Stephen Hesse on the button raised it up to 625,000 and Luka Bojovic three-bet to 1,800,000 in the small blind. It folded back to Hesse and he four-bet to 3,150,000 before Bojovic five-bet jammed and earned the call from Hesse for an effective 8,875,000.

Stephen Hesse: KK All in
Luka Bojovic: AK

The QJ8 flop gave Bojovic a gutshot straight draw and he instead spiked the A on the turn. Hesse now needed the case king to double or one of the four tens in the deck to chop. Neither came with the 5 river and his tournament run ended in 39th place for $240,000.

Octavian Voegele opened to 600,000 from under the gun and called when Ihab Ali jammed for 4,550,000 from the button.

Ihab Ali: A6All in
Octavian Voegele: AQ

Ali was dominated and his chances of doubling decreased after Voegele paired his queen on the Q102 flop. The goodbyes were given out after the 10 turn, ahead of the A completing the board.

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Michael Garner
Michael Garner

A hand after Will Kassouf doubled up, Michael Garner shoved for his last 1,000,000 from early position after Pedro Padilha had opened to 600,000 under the gun. Kenny Hallaert then reraised to 2,000,000 in the cutoff, and Padilha folded.

Michael Garner: 88 All in
Kenny Hallaert: QQ

Garner was crushed by Hallaert's queens, and he found no help on the J937J board as he was sent to the rail in 41st place.

Nick Pupillo raised to 600,000 on the right hand feature table and Luka Bojovic three-bet to 1,800,000 out of the small blind. It folded back to Pupillo and he pushed all-in for 6,200,000 to get snap-called by Bojovic.

Nick Pupillo: QQ All in
Luka Bojovic: KK

The dominated pocket pair found no help on the A52J8 runout and Pupillo was sent to the rail in 42nd place for $240,000.

Johan Schumacher Eliminated in 43rd Place ($240,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Johan Schumacher
Johan Schumacher

Daehyung Lee opened from middle position to 600,000 and when the action got to Johan Schumacher in the big blind, he shoved for around 4,000,000. Lee quickly called.

Johan Schumacher: 1010 All in
Daehyung Lee : AK

Schumacher had to win a flip to remain in the Main Event, and probably felt a bit nervous after seeing the 48J flop give Lee the nut-flush draw.

A 7 on the turn was a brick for Schumacher and left him one card away from a double-up, but the K on the river was a dagger in the heart as Lee paired his king.

Mikhail Prokopchuk Eliminated in 44th Place ($240,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Mikhail Prokopchuck
Mikhail Prokopchuck

Johan Schumacher opened to 500,000 in early position and Maksim Pisarenko just flat-called on his left. Mikhail Prokopchuk ripped all in for 4,550,000 in the small blind and Joey Padron cold-called in the big blind. Schumacher quickly folded but Pisarenko went into the tank for over three minutes before calling as well.

It was heads-up on a dry side pot and the flop of AA4 was checked around. The 5 hit the turn and both players checked to the A on the river. Padron threw in a bet of 2,000,000 and Pisarenko snapped him off.

All three hands were tabled with Padron turning over 1010. Pisarenko held KK to claim the side pot and Prokopchuk was left with JJ which saw him hit the rail in 44th place.

Ramon Pessoa Eliminated in 45th Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Ramon Pessoa
Ramon Pessoa

Ruben Correia made it 500,000 to go from early position and Ramon Pessoa three-bet to 2,75,000 on the button, leaving himself 100,000 behind. Correia quickly shoved, and after having the clock called on him, Pessoa called.

Ramon Pessoa: 1010 All in
Ruben Correia: AQ

"Give me a queen," shouted Correia.

Correia didn't flop a queen, but got something almost as good as the 7J7 board gave him a flush draw. The 8 on the turn completed that flush, which left Pessoa with just four outs to boat up. Instead, the A river hit the felt, and Pessoa fell in 45th, missing the pay jump.

Nadav Barash Eliminated in 46th Place ($200,000)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Nadav Barash
Nadav Barash

Daehyung Lee opened from middle position to 500,000 and Nadav Barash three-bet the button to 1,250,000. When it got back to Lee, he called.

On the 6910 flop, Lee checked and Barash put out a bet of 2,150,000. Lee wasted no time in moving all in, and Barash snap-called for his stack of around 9,000,000 total.

Nadav Barash: 87 All in
Daehyung Lee: JJ

Barash had flopped the nuts and had a flush draw for backup, which left Lee drawing extremely thin. A K on the turn did give Lee three outs to a straight draw, but Barash was still a huge favorite to double up.

It's not over until it's over, though, as Barash found out when the Q dropped on the river, which gave Lee a bigger straight. Barash couldn't believe it, but he hit the rail as Lee's stack swelled to nearly 30,000,000.
