Phil Hellmuth tries to keep it positive on social media. But a bad beat elimination from a recent 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event caused the "Poker Brat" to rant.

The 17-time bracelet winner posted a three-minute video shortly after busting on Day 2 from Event #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. In that clip, he expressed frustration two weeks into a long WSOP.

Jouhkimainen Gets a Double

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With roughly 15,000 in the pot on a 52Q flop, Joni Jouhkimainen checked from the cutoff over to Tom Vogelsang on the button. Vogelsang bet 8,000, and Jouhkimainen check-raised to 39,700, which Vogelsang called.

Jouhkimainen then moved all in for 74,000 on the 4 turn, which Vogelsang called.

Joni Jouhkimainen: AQ63 All in
Tom Vogelsang: QJ109

Jouhkimainen had made a straight on the turn, and when the 8 river didn't help Vogelsang, he shipped a stack of chips over to Jouhkimainen.

Weisman Falls Aces vs. Aces

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After a series of bets, Dylan Weisman had maneuvered his stack of roughly 150,000 into the middle preflop and was at risk versus Samuel Stein.

Dylan Weisman: AAQ8 All in
Samuel Stein: AAK2

Weisman was drawing dead on the 785J turn, which gave Stein the nut flush, and Weisman was up and out of his seat before the K had even completed the board.

Barakat Second Bullet Going Better

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Billy Tarango raised to 20,000 in the hijack, and Tong Li in the cutoff and Dylan Weisman on the button both called. Youness Barakat then three-bet to 10,600 from the small blind, which only Tarango and Weisman called.

The action checked to Weisman on the Q1010 flop, who bet 9,000. Barakat called, and Tarango folded before the action checked through on the 5 turn.

Barakat then led for pot on the 8 river, betting 53,600. Weisman considered the situation, but ultimately folded.

Anatoly Zlotnikov

Anatoly Zlotnikov raised to 2,000 from under the gun, and Ka Kwan Lau three-bet to 6,900 in the cutoff. Tom Vogelsang called in the big blind, and Zlotnikov called too.

Vogelsang checked on the 497 flop, but Zlotnikov opted to bet pot, putting 21,500 into the middle. Lau potted it again, Vogelsang folded, and Zlotnikov called, putting him all in for roughly 90,000.

Anatoly Zlotnikov: 10865 All in
Ka Kwan Lau: AJ109

Zlotnikov had a huge wrap against Lau's pair of nines and gutshot. The board was completed by the Q turn and the Q river, missing all of his outs and eliminating Zlotnikov.
