WSOP Day 22: Can Daniel Negreanu Win His 7th Bracelet in the $10K Stud Championship?
Today's Day 2 will be a busy day with six events returning and two new ones to come including the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. In addition, players located in Nevada and New Jersey can battle it out for the fourth online bracelet today.
All eyes are on whether Daniel Negreanu can parlay his chip lead with seven remaining in the $10,000 Stud Championship into a seventh bracelet. It won't be easy for "Kid Poker" with many other former bracelet winners hungry to add another piece of hardware for themselves.

Event #34: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em
It's the final countdown in the Double Stack with the original field of 6,214 entrants down to the final six players, each hunting for their first taste of WSOP gold.
Joseph Cheong, one of poker's most successful players to never win a bracelet with more than $13 million in live tournament cashes, enters the final day with a commanding chip lead. He brings to the table 100,300,000 in chips; nearly twice as much as his closest opponent David Ivers with 60,400,000.
Day 4 chip leader Zinan Xu (53,900,000) and Day 3 chip leader Arianna Son (4,500,000) were both able to parlay their earlier success to a final day appearance. Son needs a bit of help early today to have a chance as she enters the action with fewer than five big blinds.
Andrea Buonocore (17,800,000) and Ido Ashkenazi (11,700,000) are also still alive, albeit with two of the shorter stacks at the table.

Event #34: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em Final Table Results
David Guay (seventh - $102,258), Ivan Deyra (eighth - $78,638), and Brock Wilson (ninth - $60,930) were the final three players to hit the rail on yesterday's Day 4. Each of the six returning players are guaranteed a $133,970 payday with the winner taking home the huge $687,782 top prize and the coveted gold bracelet.

Today's action will begin at noon PDT with 25 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in Level 39 with blinds at 500,000/1,000,000 and a big blind ante of 1,000,000. Blinds will then increase every hour until a winner is crowned.
Event #39: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em
Today is scheduled to be the third and final day of this event that requires players to be at least 60 years of age to enter. A fourth day may prove to be necessary by the tournament director with the 2,650 record-breaking field down to still 120 players.
Jay Hong enters the action with a huge stack of 1,838,000 with blinds scheduled to start at 8,000/16,000 with a big blind of 16,000 and increasing every hour. WSOP bracelet winner Barry Shulman (1,270,000), James Plateroti (1,181,000) Cliff Pappas (1,165,000), Steven Wenrich (1,094,000), Miles Harris (1,090,000), and Steven Wenrich (1,074,000) also all bagged seven-figure chip stacks yesterday.
Many big names still remain in this tournament including WSOP bracelet winners Steve Hohn (613,000), Larry Wright, Humberto Brenes (442,000), and Tom Franklin (210,000).
Event #40: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
This event is another tournament that hasn't gone completely to plans due to a bigger turnout than expected with 1,216 entrants this year - well above the 799 entrants of last year.
The action yesterday was scheduled to play down to six players but instead, 21 players will be battling it out on the final day starting at noon PDT.
Denis Bagdasarov (3,035,000) was the only player to bag more than 3 million heading into the final day. He is closely followed by Glen Cressman (2,910,000), Johannes Toebbe (2,905,000), and two-time bracelet winner Benjamin Zamani (2,900,000).
Other notables in contention for the bracelet and the $298,507 top prize include Anton Wigg (1,900,000), two-time bracelet winner Steve Sung (1,450,000), bracelet winner Ayaz Mahmood (1,075,000), and two-time bracelet winner Norbert Szecsi (665,000).

Event #41: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship
This is yet another event where the original plan went to dust. Originally scheduled as a four-day event, the 77 player field is already down to just seven. This also means there has been an adjustment to the streaming schedule with the final day kicking off today at 2 p.m. PDT and the live stream at PokerGO and CBS All Access starting an hour later at 3 p.m. PDT.
The final table is absolutely stacked with 17 bracelets between them. Daniel Negreanu is in pole position for his seventh career bracelet entering today's action in the chip lead with 1,502,000 with David "ODB" Baker his nearest competitor with 1,070,000.
Also at the final table are three-time bracelet winner Frank Kassela (919,000), five-time bracelet winner John Hennigan (682,000), one-time winner Chris Tryba (542,000), two-time winner David Singer (388,000), and Mikhail Semin (183,000).

Event #42: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em / Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack
This event, which rotates every eight hands between No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha, was originally scheduled as a two-day affair but we could see a third day added with a massive turnout of 2,403 entrants on yesterday's opening day. The $500,000 guarantee was decimated with the final prize pool reading $1,261,759.
The field is down to 195 entrants for today's action to begin at noon PDT with blinds increasing every 40 minutes starting out at 8,000/16,000 with a big blind ante of 16,000 when it is No-Limit Hold'em.
Adam Lamphere racked the biggest stack into Day 2 with a bag full of 1,870,000 in chips. Others bagging over 1 million include Caleb Hershey (1,242,000), Timothy Finne (1,116,000), Dustin Goldklang (1,114,000), and Ylon Schwartz (1,105,000).
Event #43: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet
This event attracted 218 entrants to create a $490,500 prize pool, representing a new record in its three-year history. Games are rotated between the following throughout the tournament.

Jonathan Depa leads the 55 survivors heading into today's penultimate day starting at 2 p.m. GDT and scheduled to end when just six players remain. Others bagging six-figure stacks include Jared Bleznick (149,900), Arthur Morris (137,000), and two-time bracelet winner Ryan Hughes (131,900). PokerGO founder Cary Katz is just behind them with 99,600.
Event #44: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty
This three-day event will likely attract a huge field starting at 11 a.m. PDT. Last year, Ryan Leng outlasted a field of 1,983 entrants to win the bracelet and the $272,765 top prize.
Players start off with 25,000 in chips and will play 15 blind levels of 40 minutes each. Some players will already see a return on their investment on Day 1 with bounties worth $500 each.
The action gets deeper on the final two days with blind levels increasing to one hour in length.
Event #45: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller
This four-day event will attract some of the biggest names thanks to its hefty $25,000 buy-in. Last year, 2018 WSOP Player of the Year Shaun Deeb won his third of four bracelets by finishing on top of a 230 player field to win $1,402,683 for his largest cash to date.
Players start off at 3 p.m. PDT with a monster stack of 150,000 in chips with blinds at just 200/300 and increasing every hour. The final field size won't be known until tomorrow with late registration not closing until Level 13 or the third blind level of Day 2. Players that are eliminated early can opt to reenter once.
Event #46: $500 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em Turbo Deepstack
This is the fourth of nine online bracelet events and the first one not to begin on a Sunday when players typically gear up for an online tournament grind.
This will be a fast-paced one-day tournament with just eight-minute blind levels. Players start off at 3:30 p.m. PDT with a deep stack of 40,000 in chips and can reenter up to three-times until the three-hour late-registration period closes.
