Jesse Yaginuma

Jesse Yaginuma is an American poker player and winner of three World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. All three of Yaginuma's bracelets came in online events.

Yaginuma has live cashes dating back to June 2008, according to The Hendon Mob Database. In June 209, he collected $71,391 for a runner-up finish in a $1,590 No-Limit Hold'em event in Las Vegas. That prize remained a career-best for Yaginuma until February 2013. A third-place finish in a $10,000 WPT L.A. Poker Classic Main Event earned Yaginuma $429,810.

He enjoyed another six-figure prize in December 2016 after taking down a $3,250 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $108,345 at the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino. In June 2021, Yaginuma banked $172,654 for an 11th-place finish in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Wynn Millions.

Yaginuma won the first of his WSOP bracelets in 2022, triumphing in the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Ultra Deepstack Online. He won a second online bracelet in 2023, winning the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max before adding a third in the $666 No-Limit Hold'em Spooky Monsterstack in 2024.

At the 2025 WSOP, Yaginuma won the $1,500 Millionaire Maker for $1,255,180 and his fourth bracelet. However, his victory was shrouded in controversy and later recinded.

Yaginuma had won a promotion online at ClubWPT Gold that would see him win a $1 million bonus if he won this WSOP event. Yaginuma went into the heads-up battle with James Carroll trailing heavily. Following some suspect hands, where the WSOP commentary team and the poker community accused Yaginuma and Carroll of chip dumping, Yaginuma came out on top.

The WSOP decided not to award a bracelet in this event and split the remaining prizes between Yaginuma and Carroll.
