Kuziv's Set Sends Minko Home

Heads-up to the turn on a board of Q♦J♠5♥8♣, Vladimir Minko bet 7,000 from the small blind, and Ivan Kuziv called on the button.

The 4♠ completed the board, and after a few moments, Minko bet 27,700, leaving himself just 100 behind. Kuziv jammed, covering Minko, and Minko let out a long, audible sigh before flicking in his last chip.

Kuziv tabled 8♠8♦ for a set of eights, which was enough to end Minko's Main Event run as he could only show A♠10♣ for ace-high.

The 10♦3♠7♥ was fanned and action was checked to the 7♣ turn. Martinez bet 4,000 which was enough to see Saberin fold and Drees got to see his fate.

Therme showed the goods when he tabled A♥8♥ for the nut flush. Arbel revealed K♥Q♥ for the second nut flush as he stood up and left the tournament area.
