Garik Tamasian in middle position saw his 4,100-chip stack being called by Max Kruse to his right.

Aaron Van Blarcum raised to 1,500 from middle position before Hrair Kaladjian moved all in for 7,000 on the button. Aidan Kearns then reraised to 15,000 in the big blind.
"I wish I had a bad hand," Van Blarcum said as he tanked for a minute before folding, saying he had king-queen.

Kearns had Kaladjian dominated, and the 7♦2♦3♥8♠K♣ board improved him to top pair to send Kaladjian to the rail.
Wei Li raised to 1,200 from the cutoff, and Francis Anderson three-bet to 4,300 from the small blind. Claudio Elizalde cold four-bet to 10,100 from the big blind, and after a brief tank, Li five-bet jammed for about 25,000. Anderson quickly got out of the way, but Elizalde stuck in the call.

Li pulled out his phone to record the runout, while Elizalde softly sang a jingle involving the number ten.
Whether it was confidence or a little help from the poker gods, the 10♣K♣6♥ flop couldn't have been much better for Elizalde, catapulting him into the lead with a flopped set.
Li needed one of the two remaining queens to stay alive, but the 8♣ turn and 8♠ river improved Elizalde to a full house.
The two shared a fist bump before Li's chips were pushed across the table and absorbed into Elizalde's stack.
Joseph Baghdalian opened to 1,200 in middle position and was called by Michael Funk in the cutoff and Javier Barral in the small blind. In the big blind, Isiah Ditoto squeezed all-in for his 13,700 stack. Baghdalian painfully folded after a small tank, Funk then rejammed his stack of roughly 19,000, and Barral got out of the way.

It was a coinflip scenario until the K♣7♠4♥ flop gave Funk a set of fours. The 10♣ turn left Ditoto drawing dead, and the A♠ river was an extra needle as he exited the tournament area.
Uri Nemlich had just 14,100 chips to his name, and got them all in on a flop of Q♦4♣7♦, check-shoving over a continuation-bet from Michael Debs in the cutoff. Debs made the call to put his opponent at risk.

The 5♣6♥ runout did nothing for Nemlich, as he left the tournament early.
Action was picked up as Matthew Edmonds who was in middle position was all in for roughly 15,000 against Qing Liang who was in early position.

The board ran out J♣9♠9♥2♠4♦, and Edmonds' Main Event run came to an end.
Robert Rohr was sitting under the gun and had already committed 5,000 to the pot. Harish Ananthapadmanabha was sitting two seats to his left and reraised to 15,000. Action was back on Rohr, and he went into a long tank. With just 17,000 behind he was asked to commit nearly half his stack pre-flop.
Rohr decided to call, and as he did so Ananthapadmanabha asked, "how much do you have behind?" The players saw the 9♦Q♣4♦ flop and Rohr made a swift check. Ananthapadmanabha took no time before flicking in a T-25,000 chip to put Rohr all in.
Rohr went into another two-minute long tank and during that time Ananthapadmanabha was guessing Rohr's hand. "Ace-king? Pocket kings?" A player at the table called the pair out for discussing hands at the table, and they were given a warning from the floor not to continue discussing during live action.
Rohr stacked up his remaining chips into one pile and moved them across the line slowly to make the call. He stood from the table as the cards were turned over.

Harish Ananthapadmanabha: A♠Q♠
With two overs and the backdoor flush, Rohr was behind Ananthapadmanabha's pair of queens. There was some hope on the 7♦ turn, but Rohr said, "GG, good game," as the 6♣ river was placed and he was eliminated from the Main Event. A player joked to the floor who was still stood at the table, "You can give him a penalty now!"
The table continued to discuss the hand after Rohr left the table with Ananthapadmanabha saying, "You can tell he didn't want to call, but the pot was already so big."
Another player looked to Ananthapadmanabha and said "thanks buddy, didn't appreciate having him on my left," as Rohr had clearly put up a good fight throughout the day.

Tobias Rohe from the big blind and Iulian Blebea from the button found themselves on the river with 10,600 in the middle and the board reading A♥K♠10♠9♣8♣. Rohe checked to Blebea who tossed out three T-5,000 red chips, enough to cover Rohe's remaining stack of an even 10,000.
"Hey PokerNews!" tablemate Ryan Hall announced, "They have decided that this table alone will be granted an extra hour and half of play at the end of the day."
It became apparent that this was in reference to the amount of tanking taking place at the table.
"I could have just late regged and still would have played more hands!" he continued while doing jumping jacks beside the table.
The clock was eventually called on Rohe, who would decide to make the call to put himself at risk of elimination.

Blebea rivered a gutter to make a straight, and Rohe could not get away from his two pair, and his run came to an end.
