Roman Rogovskyi limped from under the gun and Daniel Shasho then jammed for 58,000 in late position. John Monnette flat-called and Rogovskyi folded.

The K♦3♣3♠ flop left Shasho on very thin ice needing running aces to survive. It was all over on the Q♦ turn to make the 4♦ river a formality.
Liubomyr Melnyk raised to 16,000 under the gun before Sam Snead three-bet to 42,000 in early position. Adam Matues then moved all in for 343,000 in middle position, and Melnyk reshoved for 556,000. Snead had both opponents covered and tanked for a minute, but he eventually laid his hand down and said he had two tens.

It was a classic flip, and Matues took the lead on the A♣9♥2♦ flop with top pair. The 8♠ turn left him poised for the double up, but Melnyk spiked the Q♣ on the river to make a set and send Matues to the rail.
In the hand after the bubble burst, Casey Glick opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Tianyu Zheng moved all in for his last ~80,000 from middle position. Glick called and the pair tabled their hands.

Zheng needed to hit to stay alive, but the 9♣10♦J♣ flop didn't change the standings. There was a chance of a chop with both flopping the straight draw. The 10♠ turn and 3♣ river confirmed his elimination, and Zheng was one of the first to make the money on Day 4 of the Main Event.
Nathan Fair opened to 22,000 from early position and Jack Wagner in the small blind called.
The dealer fanned a flop of 4♦5♠6♠ and Faire bet a single blind. Wagner quickly check-called off his last 6,000.

The 7♥6♦ runout completed the board and Wagner was eliminated. The table broke after this hand.
Josh Mok jammed for 72,000 from the button, and Will Givens took a few moments before making the call with the covering stack.

Mok started out in front and improved to two pair on the A♦J♦9♦ flop, although Givens picked up an open-ended straight draw.
The K♠ turn was no help to Givens, but the Q♦ river completed his Broadway straight, sending Mok to the rail with a min-cash.
During the last round of hand-for-hand, there were multiple all-in and calls.
At Table 70, action folded to Gregory Brown in the small blind, who opened to 25,000. Stoyan Madanzhiev in the big blind three-bet to 75,000, but Brown four-bet all in for over 900,000. Madanzhiev, who had 490,000 behind, made the call.

Madanzhiev failed to improve on a board of 2♦9♠4♥2♣8♦, and he was eliminated.
On Table 169, Chris Moneymaker opened to 17,000 from the hijack and called a three-bet of 42,000 from Antonio Vargas in the big blind.
Moneymaker called a 20,000 bet from Vargas on the 8♥7♠7♦ flop, a 45,000 bet from Vargas on the 7♣ turn, and then called all in for approximately 100,000 after Vargas shoved on the 8♠ river.
Vargas turned over A♥A♠ while Moneymaker was playing the board with J♥9♦ and was eliminated.
At the same time, on Table 152, Zhaken Seitbekov raised to 18,000 in early position, which only Dan Stavila called in the cutoff. Seitbekov continued with a bet of 25,000 on the 5♠6♣A♦ flop, which saw Stavila respond with a raise to 80,000, and Seitbekov called.
The 3♦ turn saw Seitbekov check to Stavila, who fired 180,000. Seitbekov then check-raised to 360,000, which Stavila called.
When the 10♣ river completed the board, Seitbekov moved all in for 361,000, putting himself at risk of elimination. Stavila called, and when the cards were tabled, he showed 6♠6♦ for a flopped set. That was more than enough to send Seitbekov to the rail, who flipped over A♥9♥.
All three players split two min-cashes of $15,000 to earn $10,000 each, but a seat worth $25,000 for the WSOP Paradise Main Event was still up for grabs.
The three players were guided to the Paris Green section, where they flipped for the seat. They took their spots at the table while Jack Effel instructed the dealer to deal them all two cards and the board.
The board read Q♦9♦Q♣J♣4♥.
Seitbekov revealed his K♥2♦ for the king-kicker with the pair of queens on the board. Moneymaker first revealed the 2♣, which didn't do anything for him, and neither did the 5♥. Madanzhiev had already shown his 5♣, which didn't help him, and then slowly revealed the 6♣ to keep Seitbekov ahead and claim his seat.
With the seat of Yang Zhang already vacated prior to the stone bubble, there was pending action on the only table in the gold section still. The turn showed J♥6♣5♦9♥ and Masato Hattori checked from under the gun. Denys Shafikov then bet 19,000 only for Hattori to check-raise to 95,000.
Shafikov tanked for nearly five minutes before he folded.
In the first hand of the day, Chris Hunichen was on the button and opened to 21,000. Karanvir Singh three-bet to 58,000 from the small blind, and Evan Lindemann was forced all in for his last 5,000 in the big blind. Hunichen made the call, and the players saw the 9♥2♠9♣ flop.
Both checked to see the 10♦ turn, and Singh bet 40,000. Hunichen made a quick call, and the 4♣ completed the board. Singh bet 140,000, and Hunichen called, and the players were sent to showdown with Lindemann about to see his fate.
Hunichen showed Q♠10♥ for two pair, Singh tabled his K♠K♥ for a bigger two pair, and Lindemann flipped over J♦8♦, which turned the straight draw but didn't complete it on the river, making Lindemann an early casualty on Day 4.
Michael Gaskins and Chance Kornuth also exited soon after.
JC Tran raised to 16,000 from middle position and Jose Lesta called in the cutoff. Thomas Floan called off his last 1,000 from the big blind, and the flop came J♠7♣K♣.
With Floan all-in, both players checked to the 2♦ turn. Tran checked again, but Lesta bet 20,000, forcing Tran to let his hand go.

Lesta was ahead with his pocket queens, while Floan needed a ten to make a straight and stay alive.
It wasn't to be, as the 2♠ completed the board, sending Floan to the rail just shy of the money bubble.
