Capucho Doubles Through Drinan

Level 32 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Connor Drinan in the cutoff and Nuno "BrigaDatada" Capucho in the small blind had a raising war until the former was all in pre for just shy of 5.4 million.

Drinan: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Capucho: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} brought no sweat but Drinan picked up flushing outs on the {5-Hearts}. The {4-Spades} didn't do it.

Espen "locomi" Myrmo Eliminated in 17th Place ($8,360)

Level 32 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Espen "locomi" Myrmo potted under the gun and Gaston "g-man/obell" Belluscio called in the small blind. Belluscio checked the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Myrmo potted. Belluscio shoved and Myrmo called off the 678K he had back.

Myrmo: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Belluscio: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Equities were close but it was Belluscio's hand coming out on top after it ran {9-Clubs}, {j-Clubs}.

"chorizo72" Eliminated in 18th Place ($6,705)

Level 32 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

After an under-the-gun open to 200K and a call from "chorizo72," Joel "Odonkor1" Nordkvist made it 950K on the button. Action folded back to chorizo72 and they called to see the {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. Action went check, 450K, and then all-in for 2.3M from chorizo72. Nordkvist called.

Nordkvist: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
chorizo72: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

It was an ugly cooler for chorizo72 and the {a-Hearts} sealed it early on the turn.

It's time for Day 3 of PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker-93-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], $750K Gtd, and someone is going to emerge from the final 18 players to win $153K today.

Out of 935 entries, the final three tables of competitors brings back some starpower. Of most import, and certainly the one with the easiest narrative, is Connor "blanconegro" Drinan, who is trying to add to his collection of six SCOOP titles, five of them being won last year in a record performance.

However, there's also chip leader Ramon "ZéDoBlefe11" Sorgatto, start-of-day 2 big stack Tyler "Juicy_J_93" Jardine, and German tournament superstars Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle. Not to mention the likes of Thiago "KKremate" Crema and former EPT champ Julian "jutrack" Track.

Day 3 will kick off at 50,000/100,000 and proceed with 20-minute levels until a winner has been determined. Stay tuned to PokerNews to see who that will be.
