Biography

Kenny Hallaert is a Belgian poker player, tournament director and PokerStars Team Pro. He has amassed over $5.9 million in career earnings, and is one of a unique group of poker players to have made it to the final table of the WSOP Main Event on two separate occasions (2016 and 2025).

In 2016, Hallaert finished sixth for $1,464,258. In 2025, he finished two spots higher, fourth for $3,000,000.

For the first few years of Hallaert's poker career, his poker cashes came in the Netherlands but there were also trips to Las Vegas where he mostly played $1,000 and $1,500 buy-in tournaments.

The largest cash of his early career came in 2011, when he finished sixth in the EPT Deauville Main Event for $210,962. Despite a fifth-place finish in the 2015 WSOP Colossus for $183,348, this figure would be the largest cash of his career until the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he made the November Nine and finished in sixth place for $1,464,258.

Since then, Hallaert has been a constant presence on the poker circuit with another two WSOP final table in 2017, the best of which came in Event #36: $5,000 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max, finishing third for $238,855.

In 2024, Hallaert joined PokerStars as an Ambassador and live events advisor. Having formed the poker rooms at the Namur and Spa Casinos in his home country, Hallaert has also assisted with the management of the EPT, Belgian Poker Series, Belgian Poker Challenge, and French Poker Series.

The following year, Hallaert made it back to the WSOP Main Event final table after bagging the chip lead on Day 6 and Day 7. He starts the final table fourth in chips.
