Throughout a series of smaller pots, albeit with a few setbacks, Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs was able to get back some chips.
The latest example hand saw him raise to 2,274,543 in the small blind and "nic81411" defended the big blind. They checked all the way to the 
river on which Ponakovs bet 1,887,823 and won the pot uncontested.
