Aditya "Intervention" Agarwal is an Indian professional poker player who hails from Bangalore and who has over $1.5 million in live poker tournament earnings. Agarwal's largest cash weighs in at $286,705, his reward for a runner-up finish in the $10,000 NLHE Super Turbo Bounty event at the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Agarwal's first recorded live result came in 2006, and he now has over 110 results on his record. A 15th-place finish in the 2007 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Main Event earned him €25,100 ($34,313), which was his biggest single cash at the time. However, a 96th-place finish in the 2008 WSOP Main Event earned Agarwal $51,466.
Agarawal had to wait until March 2018 for his first six-figure haul. He banked $242,211 for a runner-up finish in the APPT Macau Main Event. He came close to becoming a World Poker Tour (WPT) champion in September 2019, but ultimately finished fifth for $37,315 in the WPT Vietnam Main Event.
Two months later, Agarawl was the runner-up in the $10,000 NLHE Super Turbo Bounty event at the 2021 WSOP, a result that earned the Indian a career-best $286,705.
